We are going to send a salesmen into the field to drum up business for our high end construction company. We have a lot of high res pictures that we initially want to print on 8.5x11 photo paper on our Epson P400 printer. Previously I had used the Epson Ultra Premium Glossy paper and had good...
Well...
The timing strip was pretty darn dirty. I carefully cleaned it with paper towel and water. Seems to have done the job. Thanks so much for the replies which helped me get this printer working again. Off to college it goes!
That's the round wheel on the left side? I'll give it a go. I'll also see if there is a strip that follows the print head path. I usually don't touch those strips. I cleaned one once on an HP printer and it basically destroyed the printer (printhead kept slamming from side to side after...
I've got a Canon Pixma MG2333. It uses 240 black 241 color cartridges.
I cleaned this printer (disassembled and fully cleaned) and was getting bad results from old cartridges. I was able to get it to print great black but the cyan was very blurry. Tried aligning the heads and it never got...
I just downloaded the Epson Print Layout software. Looks like it will do exactly what I want. I did a test print from MS Word and now I'll try one from EPL when I get back to the office. It even provided for multiple images on a single page which is what I want to do.
Thanks,
Roveer
Just got an Epson P400 with it's 8 total cartridges. Extra blacks, red, orange, special photo coating. What a beast!
One of the reasons I got the 400 was that the cartridges were fairly small so if you print infrequently smaller cartridges can actually save you money. You won't be drying up...
Kind of a stupid question, but one I've never quite known the answer to. Just got an Epson P400 Photo printer. Geez, 8 cartridges!
Need to print pictures on 8.5 x 11 paper (probably 2 pictures per page then trim to suit).
I know I could just lay the pictures out in MS Work and print them...
I did a little poking around after I made this post and quickly came to the same conclusion. Quark for MAC, InDesign for PC. Then I realized that 6 or so years ago I did a 2 sided post card sized flyer using in-design and sent it off to be duplicated. That was a successful project. I'm no...
This one is a bit off topic, but something I will need to read up on for my project. Software for producing my brochure? I see a lot of "free online" tools, but I'm sure they are all inferior or geared towards a particular printing company. I've used Adobe products in the past but there are...
This is great information. So you are basically saying that the 3000 and it's inks are more for really great photo reproduction which is not the most important thing for me brocure needs. So to get out cheap and to get what I need the 1500 still seems like the right choice.
Now that I am...
So right off the bat I read this about the Stylus 3880: Compared with the R2880 and R3000, resolution (on the 3880) drops from 5,760x1,440dpi to 2,880x1,440dpi, but image quality is still excellent.
So it seems that this printer is more about large ink cartridges 80ml and sturdy build. Don't...
At this point the total production run will be maybe 30-50 pieces for an investor presentation. But we also might want to print selective 1 page flyers. Again fairly low production. Once we get above a hundred or more pieces we'd likely just send it out.
Would love a fairly cheap printer...
I have a need for a new printer to create 11 x 17 2 sided brochures for an upcoming project. Would like to stay in-house for this light work. Brochures will have a combination of text, graphics (water color site maps), and photo artwork.
Not all that much into graphics design but would...
