Lyson has the best light fastness as far as I know, but there are some disadvantages:
The ink mixes poorly with the OEM ink and I don't know if it clogs often in Claria printers.

I must admit that I too think the piezo technology is superior to the thermal one. Epson makes that.
To me the German method is the best! Or maybe we should call it the Flemish method since Pharmacist gave a lecture about the method on this forum. After having red this lecture I bought a Canon printer!

Hi Peter, The white printer is the Epson Photo 895. It was introduced in2001 and one year later replaced by the less popular Photo 915. The cover of the original printer was damaged and I replaced it with the cover of a 915.

Why do printer manufacturers do this? Well, on aging print heads get clogged more often so more and deeper cleaning cycles are advisible.
Users who don't like that should take the next precautions:
-Always use the CD-rom that came with the printer to install the driver. Don't use newer drivers...
