Hey, Taksmon! That worked! Thanks a bunch. It looks like I have to make the user defined size 8.5 X 14.1 The last millimeter (the trailing edge of the print) didn't print. It also looks like I can print borderless any length I want, up to 44". YAY! Thanks again.

If I select "legal", which is 8.5 X14 inches, the "borderless" option disappears. So you suggest I create a user defined size equal to 8.5 X 14?

I must say, I love this little printer. It's a great companion to my 9800. Glossy, borderless 8 1/2 X 11 prints look superb. My only regret so far is that it won't print borderless on North American "legal" size: 8 1/2 X 14.

Is there a service manual for the L800 series or the P50 available?

Thanks for the exploded diagram. Looks very much like my L805. I intend on doing mostly borderless, hence my concern with a waste tank. I see a checkbox for Status Monitor 3 in the Utilities tab. I'll try it. This is my first experience with a dye printer. WOW! Superb saturation and D-Max.

Received and installed my L805 printer yesterday, direct from Taiwan to Western Canada in about three weeks. Wow! Dye inks are super saturated. Great little unit. Very happy so far. If I don't have fading problems, I won't convert to pigments.

Why are pigment inks not a good idea for that printer? Do you have experience with this? I am aware that pigment inks have a reputation for clogging. This is not my experience with my Epson 9800. I found two videos (in Portugese) that show some interesting details, at least for me. This...
