If you have a liquid partially filling a container and you pull a vacuum on the air in the container and seal it off, after a while, the liquid will evaporate (boil) and you will no longer have a vacuum. If you continue to pull a vacuum you will end up evaporating all the liquid in the...
I leave my Epson WP-4530 on all the time and print wirelessly to it in another room. It prints immediately and for one or two sheets, even double sided, it's all done by the time I get to the other room. Copies start very soon, no long waiting for the bulb to heat up like my Canon MP780. And...
I have never used distilled water but I have used Windex to clean the two pads where the head parks and I can say that with my Canon printers, there is practically no evaporation of any liquid from the waste ink pads as they are almost completely surrounded by plastic. In fact, ink was...
You should think twice about diverting the waste ink tube(s) to an external collector. Read:
How to install an external waste ink tank on a Canon MP780 (or MP760)
You also have to be concerned about customers who take a refilled cartridge home and find that it doesn't work or that the ink fades after a few months. I don't think refilling is a business that anyone should start if they have to ask questions like the ones you're asking. Are you in a location...
I have never seen a nozzle check that looked like that. It's not obviously an electrical problem but it could be. I would let it sit for a day and see if it improves.
One other thing you could try is place some tissue paper the nozzles of the print head and see if you only see that blue color coming out of all the nozzles instead of all different ink colors. You could also look at the inlet ports to see if there is only the blue color. Maybe put a Q-tip...
The new Canon print heads that I have opened in the their original foil sealed packages have a bluish, somewhat oily substance coating them. I never saw a marking from a marker pen. It's obvious that your print head has been opened and there is no way of knowing whether it has been used. I can...
Several months ago, when my iP4000R died (which had wireless), I bought an Epson Workforce Pro WP-4530, specifically because I wanted to do color booklets which it does very well and it is an AIO. It only handles letter and legal size paper and won't print on CD's.
I don't plan to refill the...
EDIT: Sorry, I thought you were copying, not just printing. My post was irrelevant.
I'm wondering what you mean by "pixelated". Someone once asked me a question why some copies he made from a glossy print had tiny little dots randomly placed all over the copy, like someone sprinkled salt on it...
I can see that but what was the reserve price?
I thought the reserve price was the minimum you would be willing to sell an item so why would you make that be the same as the Buy It Now price?
Wouldn't it make a lot more sense to just list the cartridges that it resets instead of trying to list the printers that use those cartridges (and listing an exception of "only 8 carts"--which 8?).
For example, you list the PIXMA MP700 which is a very old printer that uses unchipped cartridges...
