OCP K3 Magenta might as well be referred to as MATTE Magenta. Either the Vivid one or the regular one.

You confusing DPI ( ink Dots Per Inch ) with PPI ( I age Pixels Per Inch ) Set the out put resolution in LR to CANON's Native Resolution of 300.
Let LR do all the work upsizing or downsizing to whatever final size composition you set up. Paper size / Cell Size.

That model might be locked similar to the P800 USA problem!
You get one use at compatibles and they might all have the same number per color. So you get ONE use and then it is back to OEM for you.

CLI-42 ink is not your regular ink!
It is tenacious specially when you initially use water and will almost always leave a residue as opposed to beginning with Windex.
Using this process will allow you to use the original am yellow cart as well!

Reflush them with Windex with ammonia. Let them sit filled with Windex for one hour. Now re flush with warm water. They will end up as pure white.
The reason you saw a two colored layer is normal as the sponges are dual layered with the top half being low density and the bottom being high...
I preach that very point in my canon videos but for some it seems to go in one ear and out another.
So hopefully they have a spare print head sitting around for when the inevitable happens.

The chip has been already doing that. You start up with a full chip then it drops about 3-4 levels as you print and then the LOW and then EMPTY.
The Prism is there to catch it in case the chip did not.
