Thanks for the reply.
I’m in the talks to buy a Canon Pro 200, possibly for $200.
I’m very curious and can’t find the definitive answer as to which printer is more accurate down the micron realm in print resolution, printing accurately of very fine details, the Canon Pro 200 or Epson P600...
Thanks for the reply.
I will try your recommendation and will use a different PDF reader application, hopefully adobe acrobat allows me to specify the print DPI resolution.
Thanks for the reply.
Your test prints helps much in convincing of your setup.
Wow, very clean, sharp and opaque. A+
What kind of printer model and ink are you using?
Thanks for the reply.
Very impressive. The ongoing rave of rumors on Cannon printers for producing quality transparency negatives are real thanks to your test print. I was always skeptical about Canon print head tech. I do have a Canon IPX printer which I bought 7 years ago. I might simply buy...
Thanks for the reply and test print, much obliged.
Someone on Facebook marketplace is offering an Epson P600 for $200, I plan on buying it and do a test print. I think the Epson's professional grade printers would be much more consistent at the micron level.
I've also bought two used Epson...
I'm starting to think it could be a print head nozzle issue, although the nozzle test print shows everything is ok, but at the extreme precision realm, one nozzle is giving extra ink at a systematic pattern vertically. Not sure what is the best way to resolve this. Maybe I could try using...
I've also included the printer's nozzle print check test page and alignment as well.
(Please note I did a test alignment twice and printed both sides of the paper, it is why there is a shadow overlay):
Here are the size of the PCB details:
The PCB traces are 0.006″ (0.15mm or about 154 microns).
On the tape measure, the top unit markings, represents inches of the imperial unit of measure system.
On the bottom unit markings, represents millimeters of the metric unit of measure system.
Thanks for your reply.
I made a post reply to you earlier but it seems like it needs moderator approval but for some reason my post reply to the user "The Hat" was accepted.
Anyhow I hope this post reply to you is accepted, here are the details on the Epson Artisan 835 settings I am using...
Hello The Hat,
Thanks for your reply.
Please try it again, here is the original PCB PDF file which I've attached to this post, scan it after printing since it would be very difficult to view by the eye without microscope. Also note that printing on regular paper will not be suffice and works...
Hello Ink Stained Fingers, what an interesting username.
Thanks for your reply.
I should've included these important information to remove any uncertainty.
Below I've stated the information about the project file which I've uploaded and attached the original PCB PDF file to this post. The PCB...
Hello,
I need to print high precision transparency negatives for making PCBs.
I'm using the best settings and nozzle print check have no clogs and did alignment to the best abilities, however I can not figure out what is causing these micro spikes in the lines.
I first tested on HP advanced...
