Hi I need to take my cartridge chips from the original carts PGI-520/CLI-521 , Canon printer IP4600 and place them in compatable carts. I don't even like the sound of this. Is there a guide anywhere please? Obliged.
O.K., that's it, decided....single-ink Canon MG5150. I'm curious to know if I can use old carts and ink from ip4600 for this model. And chip resetter, when I refill.
Sorry I've just found this link describing refill of CL541. Can somebody please check it out & see if it's accurate....

Hi, I'm trying to give my IP4600 the same settings, profiles etc. as it had at installation (standard installation settings).....I've been playing around with profiles & messed things up. These are the settings I have at the moment, I think they may need some corrections. The shots are in...
I've been refilling my Canon ip4600 original carts.with ink from Sudhaus. Everything went well until the third refill, now I have a problem with the magenta colour....it prints brownish and bright red exactly the same colour. I've run nozzle check and print head cleaning, I've tried adjusting...
Thanks for the prompt replies..I have a chip resetter on order but I'm curious about the excessive cleaning cycles...are these somehow a result of resetting the chip? Will they be a permanent feature? Sorry, I'm on new ground here!
Hi, I'm using Sudhaus ink in a Canon ip4600. My question...with ink level monitor deactivated for all carts., in the event of forgetting to visually inspect levels, will the prism still halt all printing when level is zero in one cartridge, thus preventing any damage? :| Obliged.
