Are you using aftermarket ink or are you using refillable?
If you are using aftermarket, make sure the vent seal are torn out.
If refillable, try to get cartridge without priming chamber. If you have priming chamber, make sure ink is always above that priming chamber! Also make sure the vent...
I had this happened to me when I was a newbie with refill. I occurred after I manually cleaned with syringe. It looks like you might have channel leak but that is the worse cast. Try to clean your wiper and cap station first!
I can guarantee and confidently tell you that I refill before the low ink sensor alarm on the computer screen. I ALWAYS nozzle check before and after printing any photo regardless Canon or Epson. I had been refilling with IP4500 and IP6000 with Hobbicolors since 2010 timeframe. I know better...
Epson cartridge has not been modifiable since the last decade unless you have the Pro series with ink bag. You only option is aftermarket with Epson. You are welcome to explore and teach us on your success or failure. From my research, WF-7840 has no chip resetter or auto reset chip. You...
Yes, I have a total of 4 bad printhead. Printer has less than 350pages print. I am going to claim I have the worst experience with Pro-100. This is not even counting the RMA I had once with canon on the Cyan channel issue too!
2 printheads with a dead nozzle on Cyan
1 printhead with a dead...
Welcome to PK! A lot of printer gurus here! I see you have WF-7840. Just make sure not to update the firmware and you should be fine with aftermarket refillable cartridge unless you have newer printer with newer firmware! The nice thing about this printer is everyone have the the more ideal...
All,
It seems Canon releases firmware 2.041 for web update only at this moment; update through your printer. I went ahead and update mine because I am throwing away my Pro-100. Actually I am recycling 3 of them in total 2 are in storage unit at the moment. I am recycling due to high cost of...
Guys, I think might just found a couple reliable Chinese seller on Ebay for the printheads. They claim to give me 3 month warranty along the purchase. I reached out and they indicate they guarantee 100% nozzle functional. and I had threaten to return (if that is not the case) on their...
Smile,
Would you please give this part code a try: Epson FA13031
I found website in Canada that have it them in stock as new but it seems Epson has put an international cross-shipping limitation. https://www.primeparts.ca/Printer-Parts/Epson/Printheads/FA13031/
Here is the response from the...
No worry! Thank you for looking into it! My gut tells me even if you find it, it would cost more to buy a newer model lol. I will take my loss with this unit! I am getting a used Maxify 2320 to replace it; with perfect printhead!
I cannot help you on the T&Cs but I can help you on the technical side.
Option 1 wireless: disabling internet: change encryption key, change wifi SSID. This means USB access only!
Option 2 Wireless or Ethernet: remove gateway in your IP configuration. If it does not let you leave it blank...
Just a heads up, I bought Service Tool Version 6.000. I get into service mode and it read my SN number but all buttons give me Error 6. Save your self money!
Edit: I want to let you guys know that in order to get into service mode. You have to hit the stop/reset button 4 times: it is not 5...
Thank you Smile! Epson Printhead 188 T1881 is the model.
I have 3 printheads at the moment, 2 of 3 were taken apart and found 2 have identical burnt spot. If anyone have a workforce precision core, probably open once while if that clog won't go away! Also if you notice, the resin over the...
What after market inkset are you using? I read again you are using PC inkset. I am having poor luck with cyan. I thought I had bad batch from PC so I bought another set. Same issue. I cannot get more than 3 refills before cyan goes partially clog but cannot be unclogged. Lost 3 printheads...

Stay away from these guys!!! I spent about $300 on toners for both personal and work. Their toners had massive leak at 90% remainders. Contact them three times and no one responded. I ended up taking my loss and bought something else!
Guys, I tested the water with Epson WF-7720 a few years when it came out. I had doubt that it will fail sooner or later due to the newer Precision Core printhead. Just like later generation with photo printers like 9890, 4900 etc... So the first thing I did was start it out with after market...
Okay, you are correct for being precise! I did not mean calibrated the printer but have it profile to each specific photo paper. Calibrate at the printer or profile yield at the same result. Profile is just a external offset of what had been calibrated at hardware level. I meant to say...
Yes, sorry. I should had been more explicit. Was on my tablet thus trying to make a quick point. I bought my EFI ES2000 for $300 used but in pristine condition in 2019. It came with everything including the tab slider and filter. After buying it, I learning more about the licensing limitation...
Since you are using argyllcms, I hope you did not buy the retail version. I am very happy with the rebranded version at 1/5 the price. On a 8.5x11 letter, I can get away with 1446 patches. I like to maximize the paper since it use the same amount of ink.
