Hi there
Regarding printheads for the #88 cartridge printers.
First of all I have 6 HP #88 style, k5400dtn (my favorite, suggested by Websnail), k550, L7680, L7780, ect...
Printheads can be problematic, I have had new ones right out of the box fail. No problem, HP replaced them.
Take out an...
Hi there
Actually the install method on my YouTube video is merely a suggestion, you can install the Piano Book CISS any one of 6 ways in the Artisan.
Removing the magnetic sensor and reattaching it to the inside of the sensor well, and then putting some sort of spacer "shim" something to stop...
You can email me direct at Support@LJHEnt.com and I can send you more info.
Our ink has had rave reviews from customers, 100% return rate for refills. But you can certainly flush and use other vendors.
I have had only one customer profile our ink for his personal usage.
I would also be...
Sometimes the search has two be in multiple directions, CISS, ink and printer to meet your needs.
Sounds backwards.
Not all printers work well with continuous ink supply systems.
The 8000 and AIO 8500 both use the 940 cartridge. I have not found a chip manufacture that came produce a stable...
Actually the Epson 710 and 810 Artisan's do not have a built-in duplexer, they have a $29.99 add-on duplexer.

I hardly ever use the duplexers on these printers, they do not handle the heavier 61 lb 11mil...

I enjoyed reading your report today, I too have gotten superb results from "these little gems"....
Comparing the results against printers that cost much more, the Artisan 700-810s are "Outstanding"!!!
Keep up the great work.

Thank you DCLocal.
I know what you mean, when my daughter would ask to print several posters (13 x 19) on my pigment printer, all I could think of was the cost. $$$ and what supply of cartridges I had...
I would even try to talk her out of it, "are you sure you need it that big?", "can we make...
Hi there
This is one of the most asked questions, you cannot force the CISS to reset ink levels.
You have to wait for the printer to issue a cartridge warning, do not remove cartridge, that is the old chip.
If you have the multi-chip, just power down the printer. (that is your style Piano...
My all time favorite photo papers are....
Epson Ultra Premium Luster, 67 lbs 10 mil, 13 x 19, 8.5 x 11 and roll for my pigment printers, 2200 and R2880.
Produces a great photo.
Then
Staples, Photo supreme double-sided matte paper, 61 lb 11 mil
Next
HP tri-fold matt for photo tri-folds...
Hi John
I agree with websnail, depending on the model printer.
On some printer models (Artisan 700-810, HP #88), the separate chip version 6 does not have to be pulled out. Just power off when printer issues warning.
In fact the HP #88 cartridge systems, you only have to open the ink well...
Thank you, reneauds.
It was a pleasure meeting you and your wife.
The install method he is referring to is using an X-Acto knife or a utility knife to trim the plastic.
Fast, clean and easy.
Enjoy

Hi John
Got your email. I would love to help however location is the problem.
We install our continuous ink systems for free in the Los Angeles area. (by appointment)
If you have someone available I will walk them thru the install procedure.
I do sell a complete systems, printer with CISS...
Check with the vendor to verify chip set. via your OEM numbering.
Your printer takes the 81n cartridge. If I remember correctly.
Artisans come in a number of different cartridge numbering and with different chips.
98 cartridge = North America
T0801-T0807 = Europe
81n =...
Exactly, version 6, reset by turning power off after printer has issued warning.
Here is an image of the front and back of the Black cartridge's chip for the Epson Artisan 700 thru 810
YangStar, check the chip version, if it is indeed the version 5.01 ask your vendor if you can upgrade to...
Websnail is right, contact your vendor.
or
First check that the cartridges are seated correctly.
Press each cartridge down, make sure the tabs at the end of the cartridge are holding the cartridge down securely in place.
There are two versions made for the Artisan. the combo or multi-chip...

I would look at the Epson Artisan 700 thru 810. The 800 series you can fax, 710 and 810 has a duplexer for plain paper.
Great photos, dvd, double page tray for 4 x6 and 8 x10s.
Easy to install a CISS or use refillable cartridges. Office Depot, $199.00 as of 12/13/2009...
