Attached 2 crops, scanned with 600 dpi. I use a CISS with Epson Ultrachrome D6-S/Fujifilm DL. The Problem show up after ~ 5-6.000 Sheets and is permanently. Printing Resolution makes no difference (also bidirectional), only the horizontal lines in printouts are a little bit less visible.

My short experiences with both inks (DL and D6s) at Epson 1500W: i got more clogs with the fuji inks. Not only in OCP GLO deluted inks, also in original black and magenta. I filled the external waste ink tanks 5 times with DL, but only 1 time with D6s. At fuji ink machine i can wait for banding...

i can imagine two scenario: you filled the wrong cartridge or because of handling some ink cames out of the printhead and contaminated cyan nozzles. do you print a pattern check, so you know it is definitely the cyan color? So print some cyan filled sheets and the contamination will be flushed out.

So it is the paper, not the ink. Cast coated paper is a swelling paper only for dye ink. For pigment ink you need exigent microporouse (resin) paper. Otherwise you will get only gray instead of deep black. Try it and you will be surprised.

For CISS: how you get the ink from top of the bottle, if the bottle is only half full? Tubings will end short before the bottom of the bottle, right? So i believe not every "bottom feed ciss" makes trouble with pigment inks. There are some ciss which have a covered ink hole and sits behind a...
