I hadn't realized that these great deals are only here in my side of the pond.............why would Canon leave out the other half of the equation?...........makes no sense to me.
Surely Canon knows that the Euro theater is a major buyer too?
I won't toss the printer as it is much easier to just change out one that has reached it's service life by having a spare.
The printhead alone however is worth the hassle of buying these deals.
Certainly Canon is banking on ink sales, and a lot of people will buy the OEM ink.
48 american dollars for this beast with free shipping and the 50 shts of 13x19 semi-gloss paper...........feel kind of guilty that i won't be buying any Canon ink............but not too guilty:idunno
are there no shipping options for oversea'ers to make this a worthy deal?

Thx all..........with all the options posted this is very easy now.
Really getting into this and i think the carts i flushed (BCI-6) were very clean, but sluggish to soak up ink like i see in mikling's videos, and much different soak rate that the CLI-8's i got from PC.
Probably why i dorked my...
OK i apologize if this is posted, but i have searched til my eyeballs became megenta shot and failed to find the answer.:he
Experimenting with old carts to learn how to flush, i'd like to use the formula here that pharmacist prescribes.
My local pharmacy acted like i was trying to build a bomb...
What's that old saying?..............ya spoke a bit too soon, or have i just been on borrowed time?
Today the I900D that has been reliable through all the abuse i've given it has started showing signs of a clogged head.
Main culprit is the Magenta..........nozzle test that was perfect at first...
Very good deal indeed. My son just received his order, 5 pks of 4x6, 10 pks of 5x7, and 5 pks of 8.5x11 for $54.00 shipped.
I am going to order from Red River soon to try out, and give PC some support.
You might even say i was very neglectful of the i900D too as i had stopped photography and printing for that time and maybe a bit longer. I use to keep the printer covered with a cover made by Compu Covers and even neglected to put that in place.
It was also about that time (2+ years ago) that i...
simplest method i've seen here is this one by "ghwellsjr" (also posted on first page as a sticky)

agree with everyone here as well.
the i900D i have is going on 9 years now since i first put it into service and it's seen off and on service with 6-8 months in between use with the last stand still of about the same amount of time as yours.
just now refilled with PC ink and 1 deep clean is all...
thx Hat,
i knew i was overthinking this whole process................i think reading too much info sometimes makes things worse like this thread that contained a link on post #4 by PeterBJ (which is what got me thinking)...
"Too kind. All credit to @@The Hat for the fantastic job with his instruction guide."
I second that:thumbsup
OK so it's possible (just maybe) that i'm overthinking, but i have been thinking (too much my head hurts) that i can setup printer 1 as it should out of the box with the printhead and...
not falling over yet:D.......but kinda weird that a person can buy one of these for less that what i paid for the 2 stand alones i have.
1 big printer is enough for me, but for 25 bucks, who could resist.
"external waste tank?"..............i'm game to try that.
will need some input though.:idunno
1st of all i apologize if this has been covered, but i have read and searched, but not seen the question i am posting.
I am very grateful to you all that have answered my PM's and the wealth of knowledge that is posted here not to mention the education i have received in regards to refilling...
