I grow chilis for fun. This one is called "Black Scorpion Tongue" and is not very hot but it looks gorgeous when ripening in a explosion of colors on its way to full red. I made a nice print of this image on a matte paper :)
I really like the Hahnemuhle Photo Rag paper. I just made a glorious print of some colorful chili fruits on a Hahnemuhle Photo Rag 308 with my Epson 3880. Just sayin.

Agreed, the Lightroom print module is awesome and very easy to use.... I would imagine for the vast majority of prints setting the dpi to the printers native resolution and choosing one of Lightrooms three print sharpening levels gives excellent results
Thanks, I had a hard time deciding between the Epson 3880 and the Canon Pro-1 (or Pro-10) which seemed to be a comparable alternative. I doubt I'll ever print larger than A3+ so that was not a deciding factor, in the end I chose the Epson mostly because it seemed much more available in my area...

Whether this is of any importance when viewing prints at normal viewing conditions is also an interesting question. But even if it isn't I still want to maximize quality out of sheer...
