Well it would be a hassle to suck out all the ink bottle it and return it back 😂 Printer is still in warranty so I will just keep it as it is and if anything happens put it on Canon as it was the ink that was supplied with the printer.

I shook it vigorously for a minute or two but still it stuck to the bottle sides. Anyways as long as this is a known property of the genuine OEM ink the printer should not get damaged I hope.

Canon replaced the CH-7 Head today and Colour print is back to the same quality as day 1. There is a slight colour tint but thats because of a different paper shade.

Looks like the old head got damaged by overheating. I had to shell out 14.99 for a new head which Canon Service Representative will install tomorrow. I hope this lasts longer. Btw what did you mean by well past it's sell by date?

Normal head clean didn't solve the issue sadly, so had to resort to deep clean. Btw 2 of them Deep Cleans were today at 1AM and 2 were today at 11AM. Will keep it in mind next time not to do frequent Deep Cleans.

After 4 Deep cleaning and 6 Normal Cleaning operation it's back to normal.

Looks like Canon ranks number one for Confusing customers lol. Will replace the colours with Gi-73 after current tank runs out.

Are the GI-73 inks same as GI-53? GI-53's are not available in my country. GI-550/650 is also not available here. Instead a GI-570/670 is available. The Pixma G570 uses GI-73 here.
