Hi all,
I recently posted here re my IP4850 and flashing lights which meant doom for that printer so she went in the bin!
I then bought an MX726 and usually buy compatible refillable cartridges to save some $$'s.
My question is:
I have a lot of ink which was suitable for the IP4850 and wondering...
Whoops, spoke toooooo sooon!! You were spot on Pete, went for a while and then the same flashing lights occurred. Went the full hog and cleaned the print head thoroughly, changed the cartridges but it's cactus. Tossed it in the bin and just went and bought a Canon MX726.

Hi Peter and thanks for your help. I agreed with you and thought oh well, time to tip the ol' girl and get a new one.....but first...

Thanks

Given that my ip4700 whirrs on continually running its own cleaning cycles whenever it gets the whim.....where does all that "wasted" ink go?? Am I...
Hi all,
I have a Canon ip4700 which is mainly used for printing DVD labels and is a couple of months old. I got a streaky magenta print so suspected a clog as the printer hadn't been used for over a week. I changed the cartridge and have deep cleaned and rinsed the printhead a dozen times but...
