Hi Again,
Okay, I see what it is. What does one do with the purged ink? Can it be used in the refill process? I'm going to look into Amazon and eBay but if they don't have them, where can I get one? Sorry to be such a PITA, but thanks for you info.
I'm so new I haven't done my first refill yet. Where does the "waste Ink" come from and why would I want/need to save it to anything? Can I reuse it in a later cart fill?
Hi Pharmacist,
I'm a bit confused here. In photo # 5 it states to keep the ink cart "horizontal" but the picture (s) clearly show it is tilted about 20 degrees downward. Was this just for the photo to show it better? Or should it actually be horizontal?
Hi Mr. Hat,
I'm new to the Canon Pro 1 and haven't run more than 13 4x6 prints through it. Are you suggestion that it is not wise to update firmware UNLESS there is a problem? I was always told it is good to update software/firmware when it comes out. How does one know when it should be done...
I just purchased a Canon Pixma Pro 100 and love it. However, I need an "inexpensive" (under $100) all in one printer for copies, text, and scans. Any recommendations would be appreciated.
I am new to this and just purchased a kit from Precision Color. They recommend replacing the Canon yellow cart with a brand new cart then changing the chip from the old Canon cart to the replacement cart. Do you think I will encounter this same problem? I have a Canon Pro 100.
Okay, that was the easy part. Do I go into my Parallels Windows 7 then to Canon and download the drivers for the printer? I'm new to all this so please use little works. :old Thanks.
Andrei: I just got a Canon Pixma Pro 100 and absolutely love it. It's huge but sure does some beautiful pictures and should cover all your requests. Get my ink from Precision Colors. I got mine for $400 with paper (13x19) and a $300 rebate from Canon. The sale ended yesterday :thbut they may...
Precision Colors has excellent videos on refilling, draining, and resetting. Great ink prices as well - no I don't get a cut.
