Do you own a digital camera?
As a professional photographer I purchased a very expensive scanner many years ago. I no longer use it. I replaced it with a digital camera. Better results and quicker to use.
I should add that the Super 6K HS scans at 216 Mega Pixels without interpolation and in the case of panos without stitching. These large high resolution files allow for big beautiful prints. This is a copy rig which employs a
Large format 8x10 inch lens.
Early printable canvas [1996-2004] relied upon a gelatine based permeable inkjet receptor coating. This coating printed well and was quite flexible, however, it was easily damaged by water. Therefore it required a solvent based topcoat for protection. Several coats were needed, and even...
Questions re canvas finishing:
1.) Why coat canvas [both water resistant & water vulnerable] - What to use?
2.) Gallery wraps - How to easily make them.
3.) Should one finish the corners first or finish stapling the centre?
4.) Best way to wire the strainer
Hey folks,
I have printed, coated, and stretched many many canvas's over the years. I have lots and lots of experience and tips.
If anyone has questions ask away.

The scan back uses both "Line Time"and "ISO" to adjust exposure. Useful line times are 1/8 ---1/240. It correlates as 8 lines per second through to 240 lines per second. Large Format lenses have a typical slow f:5.6 or f:8 lens opening. This is one of the reasons I chose the Medium Format...
Thanks,
Tools don't make the photographer, however, understanding tools and honing ones skills to make your tools bend to your will and to the will of your minds eye will make ones images better.
BTW This image is 300dpi x 7 feet long
I would label this as a [false colour] infrared image
The cyan-blue-green filter is an infrared filter used to bring the sensor response in line with human vision. When a scan is made without the IR filter the scan then becomes an infrared image.

And the image
The Super 6 K HS fits into the [large format] camera under the ground glass very much like a 4x5 film cassette. The difference is that the scanning back scans much like a miniature flat bed scanner instead of an quick exposure on a piece of film.
The round image was made with a...
I pupose-built a camera from mismatched hardware to get specific and unique results. The rig is built around a Betterlight Super 6KHS trilinear sensor with a 72x96 mm capture area. This is slightly smaller than the legacy 4x5 inch or 101x127mm film format. Lenses throw a circular image...
The i1 software does not see the Munki for registration but it can use the Munki for calibration. One must simply put up with the registration prompt popping up every time the software is started up.
I use the Colormunki software on some of my clients monitors so they can get a better idea of what the images should look like.
On my computers I use ColorEyes Display and it works fine with any of these 10 devices:
In my world I do not totally rely on the screen for adjustments.
In fine art...
I have some confusion.
If it doesn't detect the Colormunki for registration does the device still work and make profiles?
v1.5.0 is actually v1.1.2 ? Also the supported OS X are [10.12 / 10.13 / 10.14] and I am running
[10.10.5]. Here is a screen capture from the download site.

Thank you @Feri.
In this case if it is broke then fix it !
X Rite supports and does not support in the same breath. They would not repair my unit at all - they only wanted to sell me a new one.
All it would have taken was a $1 part and maybe 15 minutes of their time. It took me longer the 1st...
