HP printers - most new ones will print directly from the internet
Awesome - absolutely damn awesome
Why isn't anyone one else doing this??
Why isn't Canon doing??
They had some geniuses design the whole process
The operating system and setup of the printers are awesome
There are some really...
that's awesome advice
but can u also advise what i should do if i don't have the orange clip?
AD, those ingredients don't soind like thing i can pick up at the supermarket?
where can i buy? are they highly toxic?
ok - that's a big help
but what if u don't have the clip?
what can be done
ALSO: i've had a look at the clip and as far as i can see, the clip DOES touch the sensitive part u r not supposed to touch?
or am i wrong about this?
distil water? how? put the whole thing in distill water? how long...
I can't remember if I've asked before or read on other posts...
But... can someone tell me how to store a print head?
You should NOT touch the bottom part of the print head - or so I understand
How do you store away then?
ALSO, how about the top part - the nozzles where the cartridges sit...
ok thanks
all are refilled
i'm sending my printhead to my supplier because of problems with one of their inks
he's going to unclog for me and send back - but that means i need to keep my cartridges stored and sealed
i was thinking, maybe upside down is a good idea?
no leaking of ink?
leaving...
I need to store my ink cartidiges
I've got electric tape
How do I store?
Standing straight up - how they would be in the printer
Or upside down?
Thanks
Omar
When cleaning cartrdiges under maintenance, you can clean the all colours, black or just colours
If you've got a problem with just one single colour, then you have to WASTE a LOT of ink cleaning ALL colours
Is it possible to clean just the single colour?
Thanks
Omar
i thought i'd update this thread
just to recap:
original post: problem with one cartrdige
advice given: need a new print head
solution: send in for repair
ok... so i sent in and got back a few days later
ALL my inks (apart from the problem one) where nearly out of ink
i've had a look - i...
I'm refilling my black ink, PGI520 using German method
I've got the needle in - I can see it at the end
When I put ink in, it leaks out from the top of the cartridge (I'm holding upside down when refilling)
+ The main ink outletflows out with ink
What's going wrong?
The only thing I'd say...
i think i'll send it in, i that case
i definitely DON'T want a newer model!
i don't know if they do have a repair centre in london
even if they did, i'd rather pay a courier 7.50 to take the printer and give to them - the time and petrol costs wouldn't be worth it!
i called them
they said i have to post to a repair centre :(
i have to pay for posting the printer :(
i've emailed canon and have sent them a print out of the nozzle check and have suggested they just send me a new print head
a new print head will cost them 5p (or something ridiculously...
ohhh... hmmm
i didn't realise it might be that serious!
i'd rather call canon and get them to fix as the printer is still under warranty
see the pic here:
let me know what u think. thanks
I'm having problem with the yeloow ink fo rmy Canon MP640
It's not printing right. When I do a nozzle check print I get a thin strip down the middle about 0.5cm
The strip should be solid and be about 1cm
I've recently refilled it - not sure if this could be the cause
I'm assuming the fault is...
guys, all the replies are great education for me
but i disagree about 'finding my own way that suits me'
there has to be a right answer and there has to be a wrong answer
(of which there maybe more than one of each)
maybe the answer is: it just doesn't matter!
surely between us (especially u...
