@turboyguy, i purchased an ip4500 for less than 20 (delivered) i have to admit, i am gob smacked at the quality of printing it's super fast as well i honestly would have to say that it beats by MP640 and MX870 hands down

u used just normal water and nothing else? not even distill water? i've seen a few videos un utube and have seen people giving the print heads a bath and a good damn soaking!

i'm intrigued about the wireless part do u know the part number? can u open up printer and pull out? regards to some of what u said: i don't think there's any reason why a modern printer shouldn't be super silent - well at least much much quiter
