Thinking of buying a Epson 1500w(1430) and not sure what ink to go for

OK that makes sense. Do you think they would be better than the majority of third part inks out there? Just don't want to stretch to the cost of the lyson stuff right now and no way to I have enough cash to get the fujifilm ink yet unfortunately. I see some of the fujifilm stuff for sale being...

Thinking of buying a Epson 1500w(1430) and not sure what ink to go for

I will do. This one will just be a stop gap as I nearly went for a p400 but that would have set me back double once I'd bought the refillable carts and ink so this one will do just now and then it's time to start saving for an upgrade. Maybe aim for the p800. I like the idea of A2.

Thinking of buying a Epson 1500w(1430) and not sure what ink to go for

The stuff I lonked isn't 3rd party ink. It is the official ink for the epson ecotank. It says claria.. they sell the owl stuff and the elephant stuff depending what printer you buy. I'm assuming they are just the same? £70 for 70ml of each. It's a decent price I love the canon for colour and...

    Epson XP series

Just a little input on the ink waste on the xp since it was mentioned, I ran through my inkwaste within 3 months of daily borderless printing on the xp-860. Although I loved the prints I got with it, Epsons lifespan of that printer is crazy. Hard to judge how many prints I got. All I know is it...

Thinking of buying a Epson 1500w(1430) and not sure what ink to go for

Ok, Thanks for the replies. I may just jump in with the lyson to begin with mainly because it is a smaller investment to begin with and the pigment inks put the fear in me after the last time haha. The price difference in those fujifim carts from my side of the pond us unreal. There is a few...

Thinking of buying a Epson 1500w(1430) and not sure what ink to go for

It was Coralgraph dye ink and I was using with olmec lustre 260 gsm paper. It wasn't just the pigment black. It was all the colours. the whole print was just ugly. Side by side with the dye print, It was dull. 1. I do sell some prints so I'm not sure of light conditions and I haven't had my...

Thinking of buying a Epson 1500w(1430) and not sure what ink to go for

Hi guys, I was originally running a all in one epson xp-860 for printing off artwork in A4 which when it came to black(90% of my work) I was more than happy with. I ran a CISS in it and it worked a charm well except when I bought some poor pigment ink, the results were awful. Anyway. I got a...
