Ok, excuse the stupid question but I already connected my printer full wireless. If I plug the ethernet cable from printer to router will it just automatically setup or do I need to wipe the wireless connection and go through the setup process again?
Cheers
On the mention of it being ok with text. I never really thought about that but it is, when I print labels its pretty fast.
As for the ethernet cable. Do I just connect that to the router? Then how do I connect it to the laptop? I tried today and failed. Couldnt really find much info online...
Yeah my xp-860 was absolutely fine over wifi. Weird how bad it is on the r3000. I may be misunderstanding your reply but do you think it may be worth a shot putting an ethernet from the printer to the router? Will that potentially speed things up? Ive already got the USB wired up but if the...
Hmm. That's unfortunate. I tend to sit and do work on the other end of the room when printing. A reshuffle will be in order because I can't wait that long per print. Cheers
I just got my R3000 today. Printed a couple via USB and it was a decent speed.
Onto Wifi and it is insanely slow. I started printing something in A3, Went away out to the shop, Came back and it's still printing. Just made a cup of tea, Sat down to write this and as I speak it is stil printing...
Not sure if this is allowed so if not let me know.
I have a full set of Genuine Canon Carts already been used for refill so ready to fill, I have the chip resetter and some octoink, Between 20 and 40ml of each colour, also all the clips etc. So enough to get someone going. Cost me over 100quid...
It was a second hand printer. It was just an to install it when i was installing all the other stuff so I did. Why would it make a difference in relation to 3rd party inks?
I Just recieved the r3000 today. Had almost 3/4 of ink left, upgraded the firmware and done all the installation then done a clean which took the ink down substantially. Then went to do my first print and it done what sounded like another clean which almost emptied my carts, first print took an...
I have asked to see a nozzle check :) I no have the money in my bank so I am sitting here waiting on the nozzle check to then make the decision between a brand new 1500w with the comfort that it will be covered or the pre owned(nearly new) R3000 that will then mean I don't have to use pigment...
Cool. Thanks for that. It has only printed off a few prints and still has the original almost full carts in it. Looks new by the photos i've seen. I did read up on the ink change from matte to photo black. Although I wouldn't want it to break, I'm not sure it would be much of an issue for me if...
Haha Yeah The life of an indecisive Scotsman ;)
I've just found a second hand(only printed off a few pages) epson r3000 for a really really good price, Thought great then read so many mixed reviews I'm now thinking, Is less than half the amazon price a good deal.. I hate the internet haha.
I'm a fiddler. I like things to work but I also love to experiment if it means getting the best performance I can. :D I Was interested in trying octoink pigment inks in the 1500 but martin appears not to be replying to my messages. So the epson carts may be a good option. I see Joe(jtoolman)...
I was using a CISS so I didn't keep count I'm afraid. There was a fair amount off head cleans thrown in for good measure as I had a couple of issues with nozzle checks
Hmmm. So a workforce would be a good option if requiring a pigment ink printer on a budget?
I was looking on ebay last night at large cartridges and was thinking, If I was to use pigment ink in the 1500w. The best way to surley do so would be to buy the large epson carts off ebay, Like the ones...
Cool. Thanks for that. I assume the ones on city ink express must be for the L300 and the likes because they are t20*** rather than the t6**** on that link you sent for the L800.
I will certainly be looking into the fujifilm inks. I was thinking of maybe buying the epson bundle of 70ml bottles...
