Question:
I am using Qimage and have selected the ICC profile for Canson watercolor paper. Driver does not manage color.
Does the media type setting make any difference? Seems redundant.
30 sheets 12x18 Canson watercolor paper at michaels for $9.99.
Also Canson website has ICC profile for pro100 among others.
Printed first with just matte(dull).
Printed with Canson profile-far better
From observed data it would seem that the printer recognizes a full count and counts down from there. If the prism detector later shows a change if state that confirms the count. But is not really necessary as observed from early tests. I would think that the printer uses a strategy to protect...
From an engineering viewpoint only the transition from opaque to reflective can be used to start down-counting. The printer cannot use the current state of the sensor or it would get nowhere. At least that's how I would code it. I woukd think it reads the sensor for a cart and writes it's state...
O am only using canon paper. The point is the papers listed by Canon Print android software for the Pro100 are what I showed. The same app for the 9020 lists the full set of canon papers. See photo below.
The data I'm trying to collect is the weight just as the reservoir goes empty and the weight when the printer says "low".
BTW - was 32+ gm with the orange clip on? Seems like you couldn't overfill by 5 ml.
Cleaned and dry cli42 are 13.6 gm. My full, new ones are 27.4 gm. So that's about 13.8 ml of ink. If 1/2 the ink is in the reservoir (I haven't measures that yet) the sensor would detect 1/2 full. The low indication would be counted down from there. I'll try to remember to weigh at that point.
The papers choices are extensive with this app for my TS9020. But they are severely limited for the pro 100 (see image).
I typically use Pro Luster or Matte -are any of these choices useful?
(The tablet app is convenient for those days I need to be WindowsFree. )
I have a slightly different problem.I can get a "like new" pro-100. I have immediate use for the partially used carts but I want to store the print head for backup way down the road. What is the best way to do this?
Doesnt work. No tricks will change the size of the window. Also Alt-space then m or s changes the mouse to move or size. Size does nothing. Move allows me to use the cursor arrows to move the window up and I can see what I'm missing. But as soon as the mouse is touched the window reverts to its...
I got lightroom installed on my tiny laptop(1280x800) and got print studio pro running.
Problem is I am missing the bottom of the window with print,settings,images...
No amount of cursing at windows allows resizing. I can use the keyboard that moves it but the second I touch the mouse it...
So I guess a purge cycle will occur as soon as I insert a refilled and reset cart.
How about not resetting the chips until all 8 have been modified/ refilled?
I have a new pro 100 but only one set of carts. and the PC refill kit.
The carts will have to be removed one at a time and modified and refilled. How long will the printer allow before retracting the head? Can the cart be out for the time it takes?
(My Ts902 issues warnings if a cart is removed...
