Just a short update.
I just printed a nozzle check - looked good and then a photo. Everything seemed fine. Then I tried printing another photo and I got a B200. Haven't been able to remove the B200 after fiddling with it for an hour or so - or well basically just turning it of and back on...
I must admit that I got a little surprised seeing all the replies today ;)
I already have an interested buyer so don't worry - and I'm not charging 500 euros haha! More like 250 and then I'm throwing in some premium paper too. I think thats a good deal and I wouldn't mind going lower if needed...
Noted!
I will for sure be doing nozzle checks on it regularly, however I am unsure as to how many actual prints I will be needing in the near future and I don't wanna drain it too fast. It is my second printer, so I can't be using both of them all the time for actual prints. But I think I...
Today I did a deep clean on the (third?) group containing the red color. Then did a nozzle check. Everything honestly looks just like my own printer now. Solid colors all around and no ink where it shouldn't be. I had a single thin white line in one of the colors. Did a second nozzle check and...
Well, in this case, I would rather revive it if possible, put some ink in it and sell it with some of the extra paper I have leftover. Almost seems like a printer of this type deserves a second life and I think it could be a pretty neat deal; paper, a little ink, and a full functioning printer...
Great! I will try this as soon as possible and hope for the best 👍
On another note. What is the correct way to store a Pro-1? I suspect that the only correct way is topped up with ink, plugged in and used regularly?
Hi guys!
You helped me get my pro-1 in working order after I bought one with a burned-out printhead sometime ago. For this, I will be grateful for a long time!
So anyway. I recently bought some ink from a lady who gave up on hers. She asked if I wanted the printer too since it was broken...
If only I could sell my prints, haha! I guess I will have to buy some OEM cartridges along the way - I doubt I will ever get through enough cartridges to fill a whole cartridge again ;)
Thanks for the quick reply!
Hi guys!
This seems to me as a great (and simple) guide, especially if viewed with Jtoolmans excellent youtube videos on the subject. I just have a quick question that I hope you may be able to clear up for me. I hope others might be able to use the answer too.
I just started printing and find...
Hey guys!
Okay, so I just recently had time to get into some printing! So I did my first like 40-50 prints (+ I guess around 5-7 prints with wrong color settings - but now I think I've got it). Pretty much all of the prints came out well however, a few (three) of them came out with some...
I will work on it ;)
I had some ink smudged on my first print, but today I tried different printer settings and it worked perfectly, so I'm thinking it was just an odd coincidence!
Looks good to me - no streaks in any direction and solid colors all around - except for the CO square which has a 'pattern' of four squares, but I gather that this is expected.
Thank you :) I am pretty sure the swath you are referring to (triangular shaped) is due to bad lighting and a poor...
SUCCESS!
So I finally had time to install my new printhead with the guidance of @The Hat . I immediately got a B200, and had to spend some days working around that (turning the printer off and on again). It finally cooperated and I got to replace the head after changing some ink tanks. Just...
However you can just set it to print a nozzle check once a week or so, correct?
I finally (okay, they where actually pretty fast...) got my new printhead today and I plan to try and install it over the weekend, that is if The Hat has time to help me out - expect a frustrated pm anytime after...
Unfortunately thats exactly what I did - obviously I didn't know the first thing about printers and maintenance when I bought it, but I should definitely have checked here first. Obviously I am still pretty green
hm... I don't own a shred of patience so I already ordered a new...
