    WF-3540 vertical lines

Hi, my printer started printing vertical lines. Cleaning did nothing. Aligning the head did not help either. Nozzle check is perfect...I changed inks also nothing. Tried printing but the problem just does not go away... original image...

Life expectancy of refillable cartridges with ARC

Hi, Today I had a conversation with one (local) supplier of refillable cartridges for my EPSON rx520. He mentioned two things that I think were a little weird. 1. ARC chips on the cartridges have a finite life (like 10 or so auto resets). Is it possible? Such a small lifecycle? 2. You cannot...

Which Pigment Ink for Epson 1500W?

Since i am also almost ready to pull the trigger on one of these i would really appreciate if someone that has used the l800/1800 epson inks on a 1500w could comment on photo printing without profiling, or share a profile if available.

    Epson L800 Experience

No of course it will not be better. I did not imply anything like that. From a cost perspective only it will cost almost the same and the 1500w has the advantage of being able to print on a3+ papers. If anything (withiut profiling) the prints coming from the 1500w should be worse than or equal...

Where can you get the AdjProg...is it printer specific or just another utility like WICReset?

    Epson L800 Experience

Thank you all for your invaluable info. @Ink stained Fingers Yes the RX520 is still in (very) good condition. Only Epson inks were used and as a result has not printed much. Will check with the WIC Utility. I am planning on getting Epson L800 refill ink and refillable cartridges for the Rx520...

    Epson L800 Experience

sorry for veering a bit off topic....and the multitude of printers mentioned :) I do not intend to buy both an l800 and a 1500w. I just pointed out that the cost of buying a 1500w + buying a ciss system for the 1500 and use on this combo ink designed for the L800 you end up with an L1800...

    Epson L800 Experience

I just finished reading your longevity reports among other stuff in this forum. WOW...so i feel i should address some of my questions for anyone else stumbling along this thread. Wilhelm reports and your testing shows significant differences between the lesser L and L800/1800 inks. Secondly...

    Epson L800 Experience

Wow ... thank you for such a detailed answer.....you obviously know your stuff !!!! So I guess it all boils down to the following. 1. If you want borderless you have to get the L800/1800. I did read somewhere that you really should not print borderless but instead trim the paper afterwards. 2...

    Epson L800 Experience

I am almost ready to pull the trigger on an Epson ink tank system printer. I know that they use dye inks that do not last long but my RX520 printer also used dye inks (I think) and i was satisfied with the print quality and longevity of the prints in an album. All L series printers come with 3...
