    Canon Service?

It's an interesting question. For us here in Europe we are often in a dilemma. We can buy products from any EU country but here we have had a few problems with after sales service because we have not bought the product in our country. Sales tax is different in each country. Here it is 23% so...

    Canon Service?

Before finding this amazing forum, which has solved my problem, I had the following conversation: I......(official Canon Service for Greece): Yes? Me: Is that I.....? Are you the official Canon Service centre? I...... Yes. Me: Well, I have this problem with my printer and it tells me to...

Have you ever tried to report a landline fault in the UK?

Amazing! They gave you a new number and they didn't inform you what it is!

Have you ever tried to report a landline fault in the UK?

I see you are making some progress. When we moved to this flat in a new building we had no phone or internet for 3 months while the phone company decided whether the line should go from the pole to the building under or over the ground - about 10 metres....

Have you ever tried to report a landline fault in the UK?

I don't think it was a scam as it's an account I have had for years, since before gmail appeared, and I use it mainly for chatting with old friends. I think it was a Yahoo glitch in the system and they fixed it after 24 hours. But I hope I don't have to contact them again...

Have you ever tried to report a landline fault in the UK?

A bit OT but I feel the pain. A week ago my yahoo.com mail account suddenly told me that due to suspicious activity my account was locked, please phone and 0800 number in the US. Unable to call an 0800 from Europe, I spent two days finding a Customer Service form on their site and after taking...

65536 printouts detected in MG6250 EEPROM

Water did the trick along with a lot of paper towels to soak up the blackness :-)

65536 printouts detected in MG6250 EEPROM

Good idea! And a little OT - but any good ways of getting ink off the carpet? It's just a few sports of black from when I dropped one. Is it water soluble?

65536 printouts detected in MG6250 EEPROM

Right, well I have reset the absorber counter and I have not changed the ink absorber on my MG6150 and I will carry on printing and let you know what happens, if anything does (like an overflow) but I think it will be Ok.

    Storing a Printer

I searched for an answer to this so if I missed it somewhere, please direct me there. Now I have fixed my MG6150, we have an extra printer because we replaced it with the MG 5350 while wondering what to do. I have an MG 6450 which I use for printing from my Ubuntu laptop and my iPad. And we have...

    Canon service tool v2000

Just keep trying and one day, like magic, you'll hit the right buttons. And then you have to remember which ones they were!

    Canon service tool v2000

I really have the (maybe bad impression) that the ink absorbers are not really full but it's just a mechanical process. It has happened to 3 printers we have and every time the printer has been out of warranty for one or two months. By a strange coincidence. Anyway, I'll let you know how it...

    Canon service tool v2000

H Hmmmmm...what I did was press the power button first and hold it down and then the stop button 6 times, not 5, and ended up with the blue light on. The screen was blank and only the blue light was on. When I opened the Service Tool everything worked perfectly. And now the printer works like...

    Canon service tool v2000

I have just successfully and at the first attempt managed to use the Service Tool to fix the 'Ink Absorber is Full' on my MG 6150. Thanks to everyone who helped me out on this! By the way, to get it into Service Mode I held down the Power Button and at the same time pressed the STOP button six...

    Found a Canon MP620...

Thanks a lot! I managed to get rid of them using Malwarebytes which I always have at the ready, and then I got rid of the rest manually, but it was a chore. I really hate this junk! So, I am really afraid to download the Canon Service Tool now....
