I'm seriously thinking of buying a Pro 100 while the rebate is still available. According to the setup manuals they show that you should have 10 inches clearance behind the printer. Is this actually necessary or is it to provide for when using the DVD tray? I'm assuming the DVD tray protrudes...

Welcome to the forum. See if you can find a Epson 837. It offers "all" of the options you may want. Superb photo quality with fast print speeds. Many CISS options out there or aftermarket refillable carts with ARS.
