Any suggestions before I give up on my 837?

I appreciate everyones help but due to my circumstances I've decided to give up. My results this morning are that the same nozzles are still clogged. Today is the 30th of December and I have a ton of statements to print out for my business so I literally can't afford to wait any longer. I've...

Any suggestions before I give up on my 837?

I was able to push about 5cc's of Windex into the printhead with syringe and tubing. I'm going to let it sit for awhile and see if that loosens up the crud.

Any suggestions before I give up on my 837?

I've got an Epson 837 that has a few clogged nozzles on the black channel. I've tried numerous head cleanings, head realignment and placing a Windex soaked paper towel under the printhead many times but still no success. I've even removed the black cart and taken a squeeze bottle with long...

My suggestion to solve the "Yellow" problem with CLI42 carts

With all the drama concerning the yellow CLI 42 carts, I've come to a conclusion. The best way to solve the problem is to simply throw out the CLI 42 cart that comes with a new printer and use a thoroughly flushed and dried CLI 8 cart from the very first time you fire up your new printer...

    I'm a moron!!!

"mikling is gonna make some o f my cash" Speaking of that. Today I received my refill ink bundle from mikling. Here it is, a week before Christmas. He's in Canada and I'm in Central Florida but I ordered on Thursday and it arrived today (Monday). That's what I call excellent service. I've...

    I'm a moron!!!

Last evening I was filing away my copies of the rebate forms for my Canon Pro 100. After looking over them I discovered that I had checked the wrong rebate classification on the form that was sent to them. I went into panic mode. I had checked off the $350 rebate instead of the $250 one...

Should Pro 100 be left "on" or shut off after each use?

I'm interested in the PP for my new Pro100 too. Is it difficult to install?

Should Pro 100 be left "on" or shut off after each use?

With all of my past Canon printers (i900, i960, ip5000, MP640) I have left them on in hopes that they would not do a cleaning every time I decided to print something. I never had any severe problems that a deep cleaning would not solve. But I've read about problems, especially with the...

Got my new Pro 100 today

Got home this afternoon and was home for maybe 15 minutes and the doorbell rang. It was UPS delivering my Pro 100. The UPS driver was a girl that stood about 5'2' tall and must have weighed all of 100 lbs. The box was almost as big as her. How she got it from the truck to the door I'll never...

Are there any current Canon printers that still feed from front and back trays?

My problem is solved. I just bought a Canon Pro 100. It feeds from the back.

Santa's coming early to my house

Just ordered myself a new Canon Pro 100. Should be here by Monday with any luck and I can hardly wait. I currently have a Canon MP640 that's kind of on it's last legs and I'm due to re-order ink for it as most bottles are almost empty. So I figured the cost of the Pro 100 will be $148...

Question about placement of Canon Pro 100

I'm seriously thinking of buying a Pro 100 while the rebate is still available. According to the setup manuals they show that you should have 10 inches clearance behind the printer. Is this actually necessary or is it to provide for when using the DVD tray? I'm assuming the DVD tray protrudes...

Banding Artisan 837 What to do?

Artisan 837 using Image Specialists ARC and ink. I'm noticing slight banding in photos that have a solid green background (making Xmas Cards). I've checked the ink levels and all carts are aprox 3/4 full and I have ran a cleaning cycle 6 times already. Thank heavens for the Printer Potty...

Something less than $150 would be in the range I'm looking for.

Are there any current Canon printers that still feed from front and back trays?

Currenty using MP640 (the second one I've owned) and am afraid it's on it's last legs. I have a Epson 837 that I use for pics but need the Canon for mainly doing envelopes. The rear feed is perfect for envelopoes. I print about 100-200 envelopes per month for my business. I include my color...
