    Epson WF-7520

I have not resolved this yet. My work around was to load Windows 7 on an old laptop and all the printing that calls for paper from cassette 2, I print from it.

Turns out it was a bad chip on my magenta cart. Mike from Precision Colors sent me a new one and now the printer is back online. Thanks Mike!

Epson WF7520 Cartridge Not Being Recognized

Hi Guys, I brought an Epson WF7520 printer back to life and its been working great ever since. I recently purchased some resetable cartridges from Precision Colors and 3 of the 4 (black, cyan, yellow) worked great. However, today I went to replace the final one (magenta) and the printer will...

    Epson WF-7520

I just rescued this Epson WF-7520 from the garbage and with a little elbow grease got it working pretty darn good. It needed a good cleaning and the print head was clogged a bit, but where this is a will, there is a way. My question is, and this is my first Epson printer, how can I print using...

    CLI-42 Setup cartridges

I have noticed that sometimes the ink monitoring will go from full to low with no gradations in between. I just wrote that off as printing a few images that favored that one color. Currently, I have 3 sets that I rotate... and this only happened a couple of times.

    Pro-100 Carts

To tell the truth, I never actually weighed the CLI-42 carts and did a comparison between OEM filled and how much I actually fill them to.

    Pro-100 Carts

Thanks Joe... I was having an argument with someone and they insist that canon makes setup carts. In all the Pro-100 printers I have, they are ALL the same size.

    Pro-100 Carts

For the carts that are included with the Pro-100, are they "setup" carts with less ink OR are all the carts the "standard" size carts?

    cli-42 refill question

What appears to be evaporation is usually just the sponge getting a bit more saturated.

    cli-42 refill question

I tape mine as I don't want an accident on the carpet... and it gives me peace of mind.

The Canon Pro-1 Ink Empty sensor

Mine did hit "Low" first... I just didn't think to weigh it.

The Canon Pro-1 Ink Empty sensor

I had my first "Declared Empty" cart this morning and it weighed in at 48 grams. I'll keep an eye on when the others hit their "Low" and "Declared Empty".

I need the best order of operations to store a printer.

I asked this question several months ago and received the advice that I quoted above (not about the pro 1, as that printer has special requirements). I took the time to gather an extra set of cartridges to fill with Pharmacist's Solution and clean out the print head properly and then to store...
