It did come from 'copytechnet' website. It appears that when I registered for their website, something went wrong and I didn't receive the email necessary to finish the registration process. This has been rectified and now I have access to the program to download.
Thanks for the link! I checked out this link and indeed they had a link to version 1.5 of this program. However, getting the link to download the zip file is another story. I had to register for the website, which I did, but the link still didn't work so I believe that the website hasn't...
I looked at this link, but it doesn't mention the "L Printer Service" tool. FYI, the "L Printer Service" tool will allow you to get around an error that pops up on the Canon IPF printers allowing you to do more research into why a particular error is occurring. If anyone has experience with...
Hi Guys,
I just acquired a HP DesignJet 510 printer and I'm trying to get it up and running. Currently, it has the 05:10 error (needs an HP GL/2 card), but I was able to get in the menu and do all the calibration. It actually prints very well and it came with several complete sets of ink and...
I wanted to thank @Mowerman90... he sent me some refillable carts with auto reset chips for the Epson Artisan 810 along with some PC inks. Isn't this the BEST forum!
Thanks for the links... I downloaded the Service Manual and I'm ready to go there.
Good News! I would like the auto reset chips. This is my first experience going with a 36 inch printer and this is going to fill up my office to some degree. Good thing I cleaned it up recently. :)
The wife has been after me to start looking into printer that does larger images than A3+ (13x19). I found my starter printer, the Canon IPF710, one that needs some attention so I can tinker with and learn how it operates. It's a good time now, as winter has set in here in the Illinois, and its...
Don't get me wrong (and I'm admitting nothing) but I'm not a hoarder. It's just hard to pass up the "good deal" and sometimes it even surpasses that. For example, who, on this forum, would pass up a Pro-1 for $50? Yes, like 99% of these orphans, it was out of ink and their original owners didn't...
While taking out the garbage tonight, I ran across an Artisan 810 in the dumpster. It took some doing, but I got it out and took it home. Over all, the case was in pretty good condition and to my surprise, it had a perfect nozzle check. The only issue was the ink was low... go figure! Why do...
This was originally why I wanted to pause the printer... This way I can initiate the nozzle check, then go inside the "C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS" and get the .SPL file. The trick was "Run As Administrator" for the Canon Pro 1 (all the others I didn't need to run as an administrator) and...
Yes, there is a spool file created. The below link shows how to go about creating a batch file...

I believe that the 60 hour clock starts from the last print job, and in my case that would be...
I'm building a console app that will issue a nozzle check to all my printers. I have it working for the Canon Pro 10, 100, 9500 Mark II but the Pro 1 has a issue with the "Pause Printing" option grayed out. Looking further into it, there is an option to "Run As Administrator" and when checked...
