For me, you're a few years too late. If my R200 hadn't died (clogged), I wouldn't have had a reason to join, much less look for, this forum after I got my first Canon iP4500.
Welcome to the forum. I don't have my Epson R220 any longer or Win7 so I can't help you directly, but I did have a CIS on it when I used it. I can't imagine that it would tell you it doesn't have Epson cartridges, but what you're seeing.

A tip, after you get your resetter, reset the cart BEFORE you start refill it.
Before buying a new one, try finding a used iP4500 on Craigslist or other model with the same print head. Use it for the parts. The 4500 my daughter is using is a Craigslist find.
Another crazy thought is to check out your local Goodwill store. It's about time where people donate their "old"...

While you may have set the margin to 0 in Word, the printer usually has a minimum built in margin. You may be able to go into the printer's custom settings and choose...
Maybe, but at least the Canadian iP4500s are DVD/CD print ready. After my Epson R200 died, I bought my first iP4500 on eBay from a Canadian source so I could continue printing discs.
