So I just bought a 50 disc spindle of the Falcon Media Smart Guard DVD-R discs per the recommendation.
Compared to the Watershields, they have a whiter face with just slightly less of a mirror gloss to them. I've only printed 15 discs so far. They print with a little more contrast and the...
Yes, craigslist is great. I've bought several of my iP4500s that way for less than the price of a new printhead. Once I validate that the printer works (no chance to test it out when the transfer is done in a parking lot), I use the printhead in my very first (and only one used) iP4500.
They...
I saw this posted on the Sony Creative Software (Vegas Pro) forum:

@Emulator, While you're not getting a printer error, I wonder if this would help bring it back:

There's currently one on craigslist in the greater Los Angeles area for $30USD and another on eBay for $69.99 plus $19.99 shipping to give you an idea.
I've bought several locally over the years in the $30 to $60 range. I buy them for the print head as I'm still using my original iP4500...
The printing surface is thinner now than when they first came out. A result of product improvement and probably to address the roller lines you mention.
The wrapper on the JVC Watershields DVDs state: " JVC(r) Joint Venture of Taiyo Yuden Co., Ltd. and Victor Company of Japan, Limited", "MID...
CDs, no.... DVDs, yes. I've burned/printed over a thousand of them. No coasters and the images are superb. For me, I highly recommend them.
Here's my source: Meritline.com (for those of you in the USA).
There are several people in my area selling NIB with the paper for USD $150 on craigslist.
I wonder if they took advantage of the deal and are trying to make a quick $100.
I print directly to my (Canadian version) iP4500 from Photoshop (Elements). I'll find the template and post a link.

The question mark in the title made me think you were asking if I/we wanted a new camera. You're asking a question, not making a statement.
I used to have an A80 and never connected it to the PC, I always took the SD out and used an integrated reader in the PC. I always used rechargable AA...
I believe mostly for plain paper but I imagine she'll do some photo printing but not much.
Hmm.... It sounds like what you're saying is that I can use the same ink I put into my PGI-5BK and CLI-8 carts with no ill effects, just some color matching issues.
Thanks.
My daughter picked up an HP 4795 which uses 60/61 carts. I want to buy from Precision Colors where I get my Canon ink from but his HP ink lists compatibility with these carts only:
#21,22,27,28,56,57,92,93,94,95,96,97,98
Is it not a good idea to use this ink in the 60/61? mikling?
I'm that old guy in "Up", clinging to XP while all that construction goes on around me.
One day I'll get a new i7 editing rig and go Win 7.
For safety's sake, I just did an image backup of my system drive.
