Bulk ink for Canon CLI-551 and CLI-581

Helps - maybe, but thank you anyway. I read it the same way, but don't understand "This procedure can be repeated as often you want." Is it the first fill and first refill which can be repeated (on a new set of cartridges) or can I continue to refill? (the printer will tell me to change...

Bulk ink for Canon CLI-551 and CLI-581

Thank you for the answer, which I understand. May I ask your language help for me to understand: 'Einfacher gehts nicht: Patrone(n) mit Tinte befüllen, Befüllöffnung schließen, drucken bis Patrone(n) wieder leer ist, dann einfach wieder entnehmen, erneut befüllen und weiterdrucken. Der...

Bulk ink for Canon CLI-551 and CLI-581

Pls look at #16 and tell if you have tested x80-x81? Why can't I read out the chip in a full catridge and copy the data to the chip of an empty cartridge with QC5806 chip? If the printer can read the chip why can't I on a computer? IMO the tank printers from Canon have poor picture quality...

Bulk ink for Canon CLI-551 and CLI-581

Pls allow me asking (trying to understand the technic). The none ARC chip QC5806 will the first time show ink level and red-cros empty. Refilled it will show full a number of prints and then after a specified number of times, the printer reminds you of printouts for replacement (filling). Ink...

Bulk ink for Canon CLI-551 and CLI-581

Realy sorry No offence intended! Should have written: 'Even though I read carefully I was fooled!' Can't we find a way to do a reset (show ink level)?

Bulk ink for Canon CLI-551 and CLI-581

Sorry Even if you read carefully you are fooled. These chips are not auto resetable! Is there anywhere I can see a schematic of the chip-board? If one could rewrite (copy the first dataset) the chip in a resetter, than maybe their is a chance of seeing the ink level again?

Bulk ink for Canon CLI-551 and CLI-581

I expect you know, but how do you know? Have you tried? because than I don't have to. According to the instructions the reset will only take place if the cartridge have shown empty (red).

Bulk ink for Canon CLI-551 and CLI-581

Thank you for the replies. They helped very much. But also open two other questions: a. Why clean 581 catridges when refillable with auto reset are available (original cartridges are black)? b. Can I use Octopus Office 581 ink as 551 ink? (what will happen if I do?)

Bulk ink for Canon CLI-551 and CLI-581

I've just got refillable cartridges of this type. At the same time I got some ink by the name of 'ink-mate' from patronenprofis.de. The yellow ink is very weak in the color (none vivid) and the pictures come out too red. Is there any manufactor who make ink more like the original from Canon or...

Advice for buying a new multifunction home printer/scanner suitable for refilling.

I'm a little confused as I just received a set of refillable CLI581/ PGI580 with ink from Germany. They are with automatic resetable chips. I hope to recieve a 550/551 set soon. Does anone know a price or availablity of PIXMA G3460? I can't find any seller. My eksperience with connection (Wifi...

Canon PIXMA iP7240 gives error 5B00

Does anyone know if it is normal for a IP7250 after less than 10 month and 8800 copies to report 5B00? I'm considering to buy a G5050, is that as easy to run absorber full? I have tried to replace absorber completely in a mg7550 with very litle luck.

    Dreaded B200 Error

stratman said: >-are just in the print head and a new print head resolves issues.< I find the price of a original printhead being almost the same as the price of a new printer (if you can find one using the same ink). With the two year 'canonlife' I do not recommend use of spares unless special...

    Dreaded B200 Error

I've found that buying not original printhead may be delivered with a note saying 'may damage your printer'. Unless this printer is a must, don't even consider to buy spareparts - buy a new printer if you can find one. Currently I'm printing A4 photos (200/week) on either a IP7250 or TS9155...

    MG7550 error 6000

Sorry - the latest is that I can't figure out the cause for error C000. I give in as my TS 9050 is now showing error 1700 and is already sliding the lines sidewice. I'll try with a TS9150 (stupid man). So action succeded, but patient died.

    MG7550 error 6000

The printer can print CD's and there were space for the part - thank you very much. I've changed the ink-absorber. (See the picture narb.png). The error 6000 has gone. Instead I get an error C000. I can't find anything stuck anywhere and the whells seem to be turning freely (both directions)...

    MG7550 error 6000

I've found the reason for the print head not releasing. See picture 'spring1'. The spring in the red circle was broken and the part in the green square is in a wrong position. I've not been able to find the error for this. In this process I now have an additional part, I don't know where it...

    MG7550 error 6000

I'm now deep in my MG7550. I still can't turn the wheels an operate the carriage hatch. I believe that the problem is in the righthand side (see the upsidedown picture below). Have anyone been there and can tell me what to expect or what to watch out for?

    MG7550 error 6000

I belive I've tried all of #7 and #14. I think the problem now is that the LF disk/wheel and shaft can only turn in one direction, when going the other way there is an obstruction. I fear something may have been broken as the carriage can not be moved all to the right. I'll try some more.

    MG7550 error 6000

I've found the carriage release. See the picture. It seems only to be one of the obstructions. Lever on second picture have to be down to let go af the carriage. Now I'm back at error6000 after cleaning and checking. Any ideas?
