I did take out the head and it look that nozzles are clean,so the head is fail like you say cross contamination. so printer dead after 2years. So now which printer to buy ?Maybe L1800?:) I don't whana buy a printer again for only 2 years.

Oh...... before changing inks same problem,, so i did think that inks are the problem but not.

original inks epson nozzle check is miss color bay cyan and magenta

Can someone tell me can be this resolved? Prints are for no use. I did replace inks,and i did use windexs pads under print head,no change.

Pigment photo black is for use on photo papers did you tray that?

i think you need to use K3 pigment inks for photos whit only photo black? and for photo maybe you need 8 colors for best result..can you post some scan of printed image i whana see results:))

some user claim ,,, if you roll down abit ,he say ,that you can use inks from octupus-office.de dye or pigment also Ultra Chrome 3,,, photo print whit color profiles.

Yes, also not many inquiring for 3rd part inks for that printer. OCP provide also magenta,yellow,cyan for l300,l200,l100 only photo cyan and magenta are extra for l800 so you now what this means:\ i think atm there is no better ink for that printer .
