The paper "issue" is interesting but I doubt it will have much practical effect. So far I've only seen what may be incipient yellowing of the paper on the print outside. If it's there it's just at the edge of my senses and "no one" would ever put an unprotected paper outside. Right?

So how much of the printing from these things is done to make printing possible?
Maybe I should think about creating a 3D printer kit, the "Essential Mods."
It might be worth investigating more flexible wires for all the wires running through that bundle. If one breaks, it's probably going to happen to the others. But I'm an alarmist...
Are the LEDs truly white or do they have a bluish cast, as faint as it may be? And is your black truly black?
You may be stuck in the "Paint the wall white, dear" conundrum...
It's good that you added the "happy with the results they get," as this is entirely subjective. What I, as a photographer do, is send most work out of house as I can't justify the expense of a large 40-inch or larger printer and the working room to do gallery wraps in house. For my Internal work...
