I've used the previous Precision Color inks for several years in my Canon Pro 100 with zero problems. When I switch to SE inks, can I simply add ink to the empty
cartridges that were using the older inks? Seems that I have read that it's OK, but I can't find the post.
I don't care if the colors...
I turned updates back on (from paused). Then I reinstalled the offending update (KB500802). It was back to printing images with the huge gaps.
Then I installed the KB5001649 update and everything seems to be normal again.
Here's a screenshot of the update (there is a long list for different...
Keeping my fingers crossed, but it is Microsoft! My screenshot of Windows Update this morning is the same as yours. I think I'll do nothing for now and hope for the best.
Thanks!
stratman,
I deleted this update (Windows 10 KB5000802 (March) update) as suggested by Peter.
I assume this new update that you mentioned will be included with the next one Microsoft automatically sends out? So I don't need to do anything at this point, since my printer is now working OK?
Suddenly, I can't print large images (from a jpeg) on my Pro 100. I reinstalled the drivers with no change.
Here is a print preview of what is happening. Sometimes the image is half the page, other times the middle in not printed, bit the top and bottom are.
I often print things like invoices at...
I'm moving soon, and will need to store my Pro 100 printer. It will be in the original box (so safely packed) and in a temperature controlled
storage facility. It will be there 1-2 months.
What should I do (if anything) before packing it? Remove printhead and ink? Leave it as is?
Thanks!
Fred
Great..........0.22ml isn't much!
I understand the first print after the 120 or 480 hour mark. I print something about every 2 days, so I'll print something close to those times.
Thanks!
Fred
Bruce,
Thanks for the explanation. One question, you said "uses a bit more than 2.2ml per cartridge (on average) or a total of 1.8 ml across all 8 carts." Not sure that is what you meant.....or I'm not understanding. Is it 2.2ml x 8 = 17.6 ml?
I don't think my printer has ever gone past the 120...
I have it set to turn on when it's sent something to print. So the white led is normally off. I'm guessing that's still a low-power mode and is OK to use.
Thanks!
Fred
Many times, my Pro 100 will go through a lot of "action, movement" before it prints. And this is even if I have printed within the 60 hour mark. It sounds like lots of carriage and other parts moving for a long time. I've had many Canon printers, but never one that did so much, or took so long...
Hi,
I have 2 questions from your post. Would refrigeration (which maintains a fairly constant temperature) help?
What is a a "pure simple sponge type cartridge? Would this be different from say a CLI-8 or CLI-42?
Thanks!
