As I've stated some post above the black cartridge now installed is a new original Canon (half way now after all the printer cleaning processes).
When cleaning the printhead I've put some tape to cover the two holes in the cartridge (ink and air) and placed them in the fridge.
Can the cold...
After two days of cleaning the print-head now the black is even worse than before... can it be a problem with the air port in the cartridge?
Note that I've have deleted colors from the image so I don't waste color cartridges that print perfectly
I've replaced the black too, now there are all original canon cartridges.
I've also cleaned the strip bar, to me it seems quite clear now.
Here is a purge print
Is it possible that what I've marked in red is the nozzle length and some of it is still obstructed?
That would mean I need more...
Well, I've cleaned the printhead because I was getting a noozle check like the one below that no cleaning process was solving.
After replacing the yellow with an original Canon cartridge the B504 error is gone.
Now the situation is this:
Y Original Canon
M Original Canon
C Original Canon
B...
I've seen here
https://www.inkhub.com.au/ink/b504-error-canon-maxify-printers
where it says "The solution to the B504 error code" is... change the cartridges? Or am I missing something?
I've also tried the hard reset video to no avail :he
Ok,
after I've cleaned the printhead and replaced with new cartridges I get ERROR B504.
I've read that this is usually caused by some completely empty cartridge, which I don't think is my case.
Also someone suggest to do a hard reset, but I don't now how to do this. How this is done?
Do you...
Hello everyone,
I'm trying to get front/back function on a Samsung SL-M2835DW using OSX Sierra.
The printer is connected to a Windows pc and from there routed via ethernet to my mac.
The printer driver is not present in OSX Sierra printer list.
I've tryed adding the printer using Standard PCL...
Well, this morning after accurately drying and reinstalling, and after a simple clean here is the result:
After the first print I've redone a simple clean but the new nozzle check is pretty much like the one above.
So now, should I keep going with head cleans? Maybe selecting the deep cleaning?
Ok, in my print head the holes where the ink enters are placed horizontally also I don't have any syringe at home so I'm using this to push liquid into those holes.
I pull the head out of soaking now and then and push some liquid inside the cyan hole using the dropper
Sorry but I don't understand... How do you actually do that?
I don't have received any blinking or error messages...
So in case the overnight bath doesn't do anything, do you suggest print head replacement (in spite of the price) or going on printing and if the circuit board get burned (the...
ok, thanks again everyone.
Some more questions:
What can happen if I continue to use the printer? Can the other channels become fried too? Can the printer stop printing completely?
And if this is the case, may use it printing in B/W only prevent the damage to the rest of the printer?
I don't have W5 at home I've tried with this one:
http://www.boltonhomecare.com/it/product.asp?BrandId=17&ProductId=1029
is it a good alternative?
After soak for 1 hour, reinstalled, head clean and nooze check there's no cyan watsoever
I'll try the cleaning process first.. the head cost almost like the printer on Amazon, also is no guarantee that replacing the head will fix the problem.
I've controlled the warranty and I'm out of 1 month (suspicious o_O), I've bought two Canon printers in the last two years and both broke...
Thanks everyone for helping!
I've found this on the net:
Mix a 50/50 solution of warm water and Windex and place in a shallow container, enough to cover the base of the printer head and ink ports. Leave for 2 hours while agitating the unit occasionally. Remove from the mix and lightly scrub the...
The Cyan stopped working gradually, if I remember correctly.
Can cleaning the cartiridge solve the problem?
