    Canon iP7250 absorber change

Hi, do you have any details on how to access the pads/box i.e pics or diagrams. I bought this printer assuming that the print head was easily removable as in earlier Canon models, this appears not to be the case with the mg7550. Is that correct.

    Pixma mg7550 waste ink reset

hi, the service tool i used on the mg5250 was version v320. Is the tool not specific to just that printer or are you saying its compatible with the whole pixma range. i've heard that if you use the wrong tool you can freeze/brick the printer.

The BEST Canon printers, the POOREST Canon printers for refilling.

Well i've been refilling jet tec carts for the pixma mg5250 for some time now and can report on no problems to date. The chip resets o.k with my resetter and to date i have had no problems. The ink monitor seems a little adrift on ink remaining, but if you refill when the guage hits the 2 bar...

my pixma mg 5250 makes a similar noise, i think its cleaning the rollers. go to the menu on the lcd display and run the clean rollers cycle from the set up menu, if you hear the same clicking then you'll know.

Canon pixma range and similar models

Refilling the canon printer range has become more difficult with the newer printers as Canon have decided to make the carts completely opaque to make level assessment difficult. However with the mg5250 and the mg6150 and maybe other models which use cli525/526 carts you can make use of empty...

    Canon service tool v2000

you're welcome mate, i just love it when we find ways of getting round manufacturers restrictive attempts to force expensive services upon us when it is well within the scope of the average user and also the fact that servicing generally costs more than replacing the printer. Where's the green...

The BEST Canon printers, the POOREST Canon printers for refilling.

Yep i think so but i didnt touch that as it has a steel ball pressed into it and doesnt seem to go directly into the ink resevoir. i drilled a suitable hole directly into the resevoir and fill through that with no problem at all.

The BEST Canon printers, the POOREST Canon printers for refilling.

The orange plug on the top is where i drilled a fill hole for top fill method. i dont have any problem with top fill method. the plug is from a jet tec kit but now i use octoinkjet ink and their plugs. they have to be low profile plugs so as to clear the printer internals when the carrier goes...
