that is good advice to soak a printhead that no longer have cartridges in place, but wouldn't you also want to place the solution on top of the screens in the printhead where the exit port of the cartridges sit, as dried ink may cause a problem there also?

i believe the printer you have uses 4 cartridges, look on the left side of the page for the epson 4 cartridge inks then you will find your cartridges and ink i think yours is $32.00 for 4 cartridges and ink
