Thank you for sharing your expertise.
Great that I was able to ask experts, and learn my original idea was the result of a manufacturer lying about a product.
P.S. During the night, the theme of removing ink from a cartridge with sponge interrupted my other dreams:
The solution appears (to me)...
“expired cartridges”
That’s better … 0.36 per ml!
Thanks for the info.
My next question is …. If it’s the same IEM ink, but in a different cartridge, will it just pour out? Or is the ink trapped in sponges?
You wrote “Try the carts from the larger printers, like the Pro 2000”
First look indicates similar price …. about 1 Euro per milliliter.
Correct cartridge = 50 Euro per 55ml (Amazon)
Larger 70ml cartridge = 74 Euro per 70ml
“'specific requirements' - what are those? These bottled canon inks don't have a name and are not the same Lucia Pro inks”
Information. Thank you!

In case anyone is interested, I found this information today.
My search was for original OEM pigment ink (to possibly be used in a Canon TA-20).
Haven’t yet decided on which 24” printer to purchase, but have concluded third party inks are a waste of time (for my specific requirements).
Based on...

Given away to needy people?
I’ve watched it happen, and was surprised to see the whole lot sold to a businessman who paid $600.
$4 from my own pocket purchased 2 pairs of expensive designer jeans … donated by a good hearted person.
You wrote: “storing images don't just consider AdobeRGB necessary but work with 16 bit colors instead of 8 bit.
Everything these days is AdobeRGB.

Hi again Ink Stained Fingers!
At this time, the information needs a while to settle in my brain
Basically, the Canon 1000 seems to be top of the list, especially due to the liter of included pigment ink.
Didn’t think about that until you mentioned it.
Won’t mess around with tubes …...
“ Pro 1000 printer come with almost a litre of ink included in the price”
That’s great. Didn’t realize so much ink included. This printer has a good chance of ‘winning’
Elsewhere on this site I read:
“the Canon image PROGRAF TA-20 already comes with a built in CISS…!”
But it doesn’t look like it on this video … drill and syringe are involved.
Yes, absolutely - agree.
When I responded to another post about ink consumption, I was just providing possible insight (into their problem of the mysteriously disappearing ink).
For my purposes …. It’s not important.

Here’s another comment from a user about the Canon 1000 (I’m interested in possibly buying one):

The problem with information is, we must decide whether or not to believe it.
This is a quote from an apparent Canon 1000 customer (on Amazon):
“ly cleaning procedures are necessary to flush/maintain the pressure system, but this is really a pure waste! After 50 hours - not printing, the device...
You are the expert …. I’m just a pest.
Plus …. you are also correct about being able to switch off the cleaning function on Canon 1000 (on page 164 of the user manual).
That’s good news.
When you’re less busy …. thoughts on the cheaper Epson 2100 ?
