Maybe 600 worth a try if I can get big enough patch & can pass the measure method I am using.
As post #391 mentioned, I use mmmunki to replace the chartread.
So, I get the result selected from at least 3 times read on each charts.
Seems like very critical, my 600patch size is 10mm long x 7.8mm...
Oh , the 0.55mm , 0.6mm was talking about the material thickness on my CM guide ruler.
I forgot to describe it on above, sorry to add some misunderstanding.(edited)
Not yet try the spotread, I use the ColorPicker from CM Photo to measure the LAB value.
But, how could it be 812 patches in one...
Tried to SPOT measure two of the i1Studio patch on row 2 by CM Photo ColorPicker .
I have 2 CM rulers(0.55/0.6mm was thickness between CM & target), one short version for i1studio 1/4 A4 size, another for Argyllcms 484 patches(based on CAP480).
Measure LAB value as below table.
Might need to...
Is there any other white papers under the test chart during each.
Some paper might be too thin to be affected by the color under the paper.
But I did suspect the measure results might be a little difference when apply the ruler on CM.
Clean clogged printhead took times, I tried to fix a heavy clogged black channel printhead on L3110 before.
Actually I tried everything even ultrasonic cleaning(easy version, not the one fully disassemble & sink the whole printhead, it's too hard/risky for me to reassemble it)
Flush by cleaner...
When I recently purge the old EPSON TX430W(got some channel jam), I noticed the #FFFF00 should be really pure Y ink printing.
(I use MS paint, since it's an application without color management support)
The 8 colors purge files from internet like marruttusa , the 4 colors version somehow...
I have some application similar like yours, the similar model as ET-2720 called L3150.
After calibrate by colormunki via i1studio, it's acceptable and much similar to what should be seem on Illustrator after apply the printer profile for specific paper type/driver settings.
BTW, the plain paper...
Also based on cap480.bat.
Tried few tweak about printtarg, but seems like my favor still similar to the original one. It's 484 but without any crop.
REM printtarg -v -ii1 -a1.05 -A0.6 -T300 -R21 -m2 -P -pA4 %pcn2%
printtarg -v -ii1 -a1.15 -A0.6 -T300 -R21 -m0 -P -L -pA4 %pcn2%
REM printtarg -v...
Unfortunately, in my area. Epson never announce ET-77xx or ET85xx. So only T673 available.
Anyway, I would try what I can get. The target is for better gamut volume.
The 106 ink might be harder to get, need to bought from China or Japan(but usually much expensive)
WorkForce545 original came with
4-color DURABrite® Ultra pigment ink
So, what kind of the ink you left from the CISS?
Actually you can use any ink with L3150 when it's brand new.
But if it's already filled, better to wash the tank before refill other different inks.
Especially don't mix dye...
Yes, the only drawback is matte paper resolution not as high as glossy.
Standard=> 720x720dpi
High => 1440x720dpi
Quality => 5760x1440dpi (matte no this option)
But we can use L365 driver instead for L385. It can bypass the limit.
The trick at least works on currently available 4 dye inks...
Just notice the L model much earlier available in Asia & EU
You might still have L310. It should be 4 colors print on glossy paper.
The ET- model in US seems like the first Ecotank available as ET-2500/ET-2550/ET-4500 around 2015.
It's just the same year in L series still available 4 inks glossy...
If I select driver pause print. Enable the always RAW spool mode in misc.
Get the .SPL file in windows\system32\spool\PRINTER.
Decode them to identify what ink number calling.
So, currently I can check how they works without really have that target printer.
(Color:0 is black)
But some new model...
After some more investigate about the older model driver.
Seems like most of the 4 color EPSON dye ink printer use CMY only for glossy paper type.
On Ecotank models, the exception might only appear on L1300, L550, L565 generation.
They have CMYK on glossy paper type.
But since L385(the time...
Found L3150(Also L3110, L5190) driver on Windows & OSX might be only CMY inks for color printing on all paper types with "Glossy" keyword.
I am still checking the issue via microscope.
Since ET 2710, 2720 might share the same driver code base. It might be related.
