Looks like someone else was having the same problem and managed to figure it out:

*edit*
Turns out I actually have this file on my PC so this might be how I did it.
If you figure it out be sure to let me know how you did it. If I ever need to set mine up again I don't want to spend another three months figuring it out. If it helps this is the all the locations of the file "AdobeRGB1998.icc" on my C drive. Quite a few of these definitely won't be relevant...
If I'm understanding the requirements correctly, the attached image shows what he's trying to do. This is what I spent about 3 months try to get to work, that is in the Canon Printer driver menu: Main > Manual Colour Adjustment > Matching then the Input Profile drop-down menu, you need to be...
When I had some custom .icc profiles created I was sent a file or a link that turns off all the colour management for your printer and then prints a big grid of all different colours. It's when I did this that I realised my Pixma Pro 100s could actually print a much wider gamut that I'd been...
There's lots of files in this folder on my PC, however in the "Input Profile" in the Printer Driver there are only two options: Standard and AdobeRGB(1998).
"@Roberto Smith , I do have them installed at the right places. The fact that it still doesnt show up probably means that for my printer...
I did eventually, not 100% sure what I did but the AdobeRGB option showed up in the printer driver as shown in the picture. I remember obtaining the Adobe ICC Profiles from the Internet, I would guess I must have put the relevant .icc profile in a folder somewhere and then it's available from...
I currently have a Canon Pixma Pro 100s and have lots of spare genuine CLI-42 carts for it. I'm in the UK so use refill inks from Octoinkjet (quality basically equivalent to US Precision Colors so they are very good!).
I can buy empty and unmodified CLI-42 carts on eBay for about £1 each. I was...
Just been told by someone who creates custom ICC profiles that it's impossible to create one that will match (or even attempt to match) the output of one printer with another. Kinda seems strange you can't do this with an ICC profile though. Maybe I'm misunderstanding how they work but I thought...
Yeh I expect they import them, hence the recent price hike. About a year ago I was able to get them for about £100 each and now they are more like £180.
Do you know if the Pro 200 uses the same printhead? If so then I would have thought the printheads would be officially available in Europe /...
Hello all,
I currently run a small business in my spare time making custom Lego stickers and have x2 Canon Pixma Pro 100s printers. Because Lego bricks are specific colours I have had a company create custom ICC profiles that for my combination of (refill) inks, vinyl sticker material and...
My Pro 100s has started smudging the paper with black ink. Started out as a little bit on one corner but that got worse and then it progressed to also being down the side and then also across the middle of the page in a dotted "walking ant" line.
I've tried the maintenace options such as...
I've had a Canon G5000 for about 2 years now and it's been a good printer overall with little trouble. The last few weeks however have seen it start to jam more frequently, to the point now where it's getting paper jams pretty much every time I try to print. I have to open the lid and manually...
I actually work for my local water authority so know better than most what's in it. :D
It's safe enough to drink but given the area of the UK I live in, it does have quite a high mineral content.
I've recently flushed a full set of CLI-42 carts using luke warm tap water to clean them. This was after 100's of refills on the same carts and I noticed that the flow was getting less and less with a lot of them so time for a flush. They are all working fine except for the yellow one which has...
I've used a cleaning kit to flush out my Canon Pixma Pro 100s print head after a couple of the channels kept getting blocked. I'm at the final stages of cleaning it but nothing in the instructions says what to do next before putting it back in the printer. Currently there will be cleaning fluid...
The carts are genuine OEM but refilled with good quality replacement inks (Octo Inkjet in the UK). I've used the same carts for about 2 years now and first time I've had problems. Could be the carts though....with it being the yellow one I always get suspicious that it's a "yellow-jello" issue...
I mostly use my Pixma Pro 100s for printing on glossy vinyl sticker material and so have the print settings on "Photo Paper Glossy II" and print quality set to "high". I've occasionally had issues with blocked channels on the print head but these are few and far between and can usually be...
Just to update this:
The version available on eBay has been updated to 2023 and in the description states that the Pro 100 and Pro 100s printers are now supported. I haven't tested the tool myself however.
