The B/W plot of Gamutvision in rel. col. mode should show if the colorprof -nI option has an impact on the blacklevel value although it wouldn't clear any conflict with Lightroom - I don't use it either. So just go ahead and post a profile with this option and we can check if we see any impact
I would not make much of a difference between the 106 and the 114 dye inks, pricing between the inks may vary - over time - and by country . I see several offers of alternative pigment inks for the ET-8550 and similar . Be aware that performance like lightfastness or gloss/bronzing etc is not...
You can ask the potential seller(s) of the mentioned device offers to run the i1 diagnostics which works as well on the ColorMunki and should tell you the overall usage time of the device. You may choose to buy the unit with the lowest usage time ...
'mininal differences' - below visibility ? How would you differentiate between measuring tolerances and actual hue and saturation differences of your print ? You would have to print several copies of the target sheets and measure them several times and average all readings - there is a reason...
So what
I strongly doubt that these profiles are from real profiling...
There is no need for real profiling since it's the same base paper - just with a different surface structure.
How did this nozzle problem develop - was it there suddenly - or did the problem grow with more and more nozzles missing ? Are you doing refill or using original inks/cartridges ?
These L1300 or L1800 were A3 printers - with 4 or 6 inks but they are phased out already. The ET 18100 is the 6 ink A3+ follow up model currently in the pricelist, but depending of your country of residence model numbers may vary.
The paper type selection does a kind of pre-profiling the paper - it provides some information to the driver - which are mainly the ink limit for the coating - actually different ink limits - one as a total of all inks mixed and another parameter for each ink color. And the paper selection does...
Luster type papers should use the same icc-profile/driver settings as the corresponding glossy paper, Luster is just an additional and optional production step by which the paper passes through kalander rolls which press the luster surface structure into the glossy surface, this does not change...
White inks are solvent based, and you need a printer for such inks which are typically large format printers. And you need special software - RIP - which can handle a different color in the black ink channel. So there is no somewhat easy solution to print white on dark envelopes with a desktop...
You are most likely using some other type of paper for a nozzle check.
How much do you/did you print with this model - the nozzle check should tell you. It could be that the printer needs some internal cleaning - the timing strip - the lip which wipes off the nozzle plate which is part of the...
I would expect that all inks which you mention will print, differences may exist in the the achievable black level but I'm not aware of any test to compare the black level of these inks so you may test some of these in this respect which ink would deliver you the best contrast and sharpness of...
Let me just put 4000 m into perspective - the print width is 610 mm of an A2 sheet, , I do 4000 x 0,6 = 2400 sqm , and 2400 sqm are 2400 x 16 = 38 400 A4 sheets, and this mainly with image and graphics prints - I printed mainly 24 inch posters. (A0 is a sqm or 16 A4 sheets. )
I dumped my 7600 as well, after almost 20 years of service - 4110 meters of paper passed through it . I got into problems with the waste ink tubing and the pump , the printhead did fine until then. I'm not sure yet if I need a successor.
This Canon printer uses CMY dye inks + a pigment black; I think you first should check which ink type you need - dye or pigment; your old C88 was running with pigment inks. You may try to find somebody who could help you to print your decals on a dye ink printer so you can check if they...
The Epson U.S. website does not offer a printer comparable to the WF-2110W - printer only wihout a scanner, and with Durabrite pigment inks.
The lowest offering by Epson US with pigment inks - Durabrite - is the WF-3820 - a combo unit with a scanner. It appears to be offered with a pretty steep...
The issue is with serial numbers of cartridges, the printer firmware reads them and stores them in the printer and prevents re-use of cartridges which have been resetted. The firmware can verify that the serial numbers have been created with a cryptographic formula which has not been cracked...
Carbonprint inks support the ET-18100 - wihtou the need of special software - it's probably QuadToneRip they refer to.

It's the printer firmware to my understanding how it handles the signals from the cartridges; cartridges got a serial number in their chip, and the firmware rejects the use of a given cartridge/serial number a second time; you can buy chips for replacement from China or a tricky adapter for all...
You may have a look to the recently released ET-18100 which is a kind of updated re-release of the 1400 as an Ecotank printer - with the same type of inkset with 6 inks - Photoblack - M - LM - C - LC - Y so you have the choice of 2 similar printers - ET-8550 and ET-18100
