I've been following this guy's AMAZING build, and it finally came together in the video below.

I don't see any cooling... and I'm curious how this works with such HUGE thick lines of hot plastic that probably take forever to solidify.

I reckon I’ll stick to injection moulding for any big projects, because divorce is far more expensive that any 3D printer, but it’s still surprising how big you can build things with the smaller 3D printer.. It’s all in your head..

When I was making the top lid on my bees nest I was using a point 5 nozzle and the gap to fill was 40 mm and even then I noticed a little bit of sag in the filament as it crossed the gap, but the top lid was finished 2 mm thick so the sag was eliminated after 1 mm height..
