Thank you for the answer. Actually those empties would have been filled to the top with OEM ink before I push the power on button. Was just hoping for a miracle but thank you again for the advice

Can a brand new Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-1000 be initialized with Marked empty Canon OEM carts that would be refilled ? In other words can they be refilled with Canon OEM harvested ink then when the 1753 error appears, hold the stop button to disable ink monitoring or would another error appear...

Did swapping out mainboard require the adjustment utility or was it plug and play without having to import or program in the saved NVRM (I think it's called) from the original board? Thank you Jeff
