I've just refilled a 520 PGBK cart in place of a 526 and I'm getting no printing at all from it! It's showing up OK as a full cart and I've tried blowing the ink out and it flowing OK... Help!!

I did a top fill and it has a silicone plug in place.

Check the operation of the purge system. Do you know how?

No I don't. But I guessing it should be OK as this printer was only new in December 2013

And sorry I did mean a 525 PGBK

Try a new, proper OEM cart. If it still does not work, assure all carts installed are OEM (and have not been refilled), and take it back to Canon for warrantee repair.

It's not worth fussing with a machine still in warranty...

Thanks, Will pick up a new OEM cart and if no luck will be sending it back under the warranty
