Hi Everyone,

Here are some rules and info for the Nifty-Stuff Inkjet Forum:

1. No self promotion and/or advertising: We ask that forum members do not use our inkjet forum to advertise products and services.
2. Please maintain a friendly and courteous environment. Weve got a great group of people on this forum and want to maintain our wonderful atmosphere.
3. Before you post questions like, My nozzles are plugged. Or My printer wont print. Please visit the FAQ section and also use the search tool. Most of these questions have been answered many times over.
4. If you do post a question, make your subject is as detailed as possible. Help!! isnt the best subject for a new post. A better example is, How do I reset the waste tank on my Canon i860? Oh, and always provide details on the manufacturer of your ink and cartridges.
5. Those of us who respond to your questions are glad to do so. Please help us help others: When you finally solve your problem, please post the solution (even if the "solution" was to buy a new printer). This feedback is vital to the forum and to our problem solving techniques.
6. Please return the favor of someone helping you by helping others. Even simple experiences with printing, refilling, photography, etc. is helpful to the group and to the forum as a whole.

Thanks so much for your welcome! Before joining
I came across a post by Sopomore (I think that's the correct spelling?) which solved the problem of jammed paper in my Canon Pixma 5765 printer.
i would like to thank him/her but don't know how to find that post. Suffice to say, it restored my sanity!

Thank you for warm welcome from admin.:)
I'm so glad I decided to search for help for my Pro9000 II with Error code B200 and found answer on PK, now I have to figure out how to open the side panel and what is the purge unit The Hat mentioned.

Hi @VJan and welcome, I don’t have a detailed plan of the Pro 9000, but this might help you get the top cover from your machine and it also shows the purge unit..

When carrying out any operations on your printer make sure you have plenty of room around the printer first and then employ Patients as your assistant, (Go slowly), Tip: if you take Pics of your progress it might help you with the reassembly..

Thank you very much for the warm welcome.
I am a mechanical engineer and know little about electronics, but due to the way that some (possibly all) printer manufacturers set up machines to require special (secret?) coding after minor diy service I need to find out a bit more info to avoid frustration and save a fair bit of money!
