anyone ever hear of or try the canon EID (Easy Ink Delivery) system ?

just got email from canon pushing me to sign up.....

i prefer the EIR (Easy Ink Refill) System

Misc: Squeeze bottles - so much easier than syringes

Thanks Jim for sharing this interesting news with us, Ive never heard of it before.
I do have two printers that suppose have this EID enabled but dont fortunately.

The less control that Canon have over my printing preferences the better and all my printer links to
the internet are denied, disabled or deleted and will remain so, I just dont trust the buggers.

I will however continue go with and promote your EIR system because it gives everyone the freedom of choice..
